Returns & Warranties FAQ
Encore Data Products accepts Returns on non-defective, unopened items within 30 days of purchase. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Returns on defective items are subject to manufacturer warranties. See more information about Warranties below.
To get a product Return authorized by Encore Data Products, we request that you provide the following:
- All original contents (product, manuals, instructions, etc.)
- Original packaging in new and unopened condition
- Return Authorization (RA) number printed on outside of shipping carton -- see more information about RA numbers below
Please note that ALL returns require a Return Authorization (RA) number prior to being returned. The RA information will include the warehouse ship-to address and instructions. Since Encore Data Products ships products from multiple warehouses, we do not process all returned items at our main warehouse location. To obtain an RA number, inquire about lost/damaged shipments, or claim manufacturer defects, please email our Returns Department at [email protected]. Returned items freight costs are the customer's responsibility unless the Return is for a defective item.
Some products sold by Encore Data Products include manufacturers warranties that require product returns and/or exchanges be handled directly by the manufacturer. If your product Return requires manufacturer contact prior to issuing an RA, we will let you know and do our best to handle all returns directly. Encore Data Products does not warranty any products -- ALL warranties provided are provided the manufacturer. Encore Data Products liability, if any, for negligence or otherwise, is limited to the return of goods sold and refund of purchase price.
While rare, there are occasions when a contracted freight carrier loses a package or delivers a damaged box. If you receive a damaged shipment or if your order becomes lost, please contact an Encore Data Products Customer Service Specialist immediately. We will work to correct the situation promptly.
